Kathleen + Ben
Kathleen wanted her wedding reception to feel like a garden. But she also had this incredibly cool, modern taste that needed to be present throughout the day as well. When she opted for a classic, clean invitation suite, I knew we needed a pop of fun somewhere. And that somewhere was the envelope liner. I asked permission from local artist Stephanie Carignan to use images of her work, Spring in Bloom. Those images were used to print the liner and postage for the invitation suite. The lush blooms and colorful palette strokes from the invitation were the inspiration for the reception - showing up on the menu card, the escort cards, and even the dance floor. This incredibly special family even gifted individual, unique paintings to each couple attending the event. They were displayed in front of the actual painting (gifted to them by their esteemed planner, Monica Richard, Mon Amie Events) and doubled as escort cards. It was a beautiful day for an extraordinary couple.
